Tubalord11 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Really great lineup! Westlake will probably take the win but seeing McNeil beat them at TMC last season, they could pull an upset! Will be a great comp! Dave609 1 Quote
Loki Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 WC took the dub last year. My predictions cause they’re on the up. 1. Churchill 2. Westlake 3. McNeil 4. Taft 5. Lake Belton 6. Glenn 7. Weiss 8. Hutto 9. Liberty Hill 10. Wagner Quote

GuardMom27 Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Has anyone seen Glenn’s show this year? I’ve heard different things about where they are and how they’re doing, but haven’t seen them yet myself. Quote

Could see McNeil upsetting Westlake after how well they did this past weekend. I’d also have Liberty Hill in the 9-10 range interested of Hutto but other than that this will be close to what happens I think Quote

Tubalord11 Posted September 29, 2024 Posted September 29, 2024 Will be fun to see how Taft does here after winning the US Bands Austin comp, definitely think they’ll be in the middle of the pack Quote

Mcneil is a fantastic band though WC is also a much better ensemble than last year. So much so that multiple panelists at the NEISD Band Fall Festival said there’s no reason we can’t compete with Reagan and Johnson this year. Eyes out for WC. Our stuff is good. Tubalord11 1 Quote

Popular Post MikeKyu Posted October 2, 2024 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2024 The Westlake show is beautiful. The guard alone is stunning to watch. Musically they are taking their concert strengths and putting them in the field now. This show is one of my favorites of the season. ChristopherRoden, Bandmanio and Tubalord11 3 Quote

It was a narrow win last year and then McNeil beat Churchill at Area. So I would say the bands are even at this point until a head to head matchup happens. Quote
