Depends on performance Draw for both bands, And I’m not sure if Jordan plans on finals at Shenandoah, not throwing any shade at Jordan but I think it’s a bit more likely they won’t make finals at Shenandoah.

Accurate with what people said before, based on their performance draw their director staff is going to pick one or the other. 

If I were guessing, Jordan probably only does the BOA show and will pull out of the Alvin show, with Fulshear I have no idea, maybe they try both? 🤷‍♂️

I’m very curious on Jordan and fulshear draw time for BOA north Houston, bc it almost a hour traveling from Alvin to Shenandoah. 

im guessing fulshear is late afternoon for BOA and Jordan maybe late afternoon or early morning

If you base these off last season, Dickinson is clearly a tier or two above the rest. They beat Clear Brook and Dawson at state marching and seem to be gearing up for BOA as well.

I have a strong feeling we're going to see either a slight schedule change or a couple groups pulling out after the publication of the BOA and Alvin Marching schedules. 

Jordan and Fulshear are slated to go back to back in the schedule at BOA with 1:30 and 1:45 performance times. According to google with ZERO traffic it takes over an hour to get from one stadium to the next, with school buses add another 30, and with traffic, probably another 30-45 on top of that; so at the MINIMUM both groups would more likely than not be looking at approximately 2 hours of drive time with buses from Alvin to BOA. 

I just don't see either of those groups staying in this contest with the travel and performance time draws. Maybe something changes with the schedule (unlikely) but it'll be nice to see them going head to head with all the groups at BOA and hear them in person so early in the season. 

Dug a little bit cause I couldnt remember much of anything results from this contest last year, but here are the results from Finals LAST YEAR from Alvin. There are more groups at the contest this year than last year which is awesome to see with the 2023 (16 + 4 in exhibition) vs 2024 (25 + 4 in exhibition). I was going to post my predictions but seeing these results has me questioning myself 🤣 Ill throw my predictions for this year up later!

Just a guess, but with Jordans performance time being the exact same as their BOA show time, they'll be more likely than not pulling out of this contest.

Okay it looks like the schedule has been changed again to accommodate for Jordan HS dropping this comp to go perform at BOA Shenandoah. Nothing much has changed except for Clements and Ridge Point each moving up a block along with prelims ending 15min earlier.

It appears so, they have a much bigger chance on making Finals at Alvin so perform then go to BOA North Houston, perform there and then come back for Finals at Alvin.

That's a pretty brutal long day for that program if that's what they are intending on doing 😬 

Does anyone know someone in the program or a parent who can confirm their schedule for that day?

Hi, i go to fulshear so we preform at alvin in the morning after we’re done we’re going to boa then see results for finals and go where we make finals. 😁

Good list, but Pasadena Memorial looks really good this year, I’d put them above Spring, maybe even Fulshear if they can clean up their drill
