Alvin ISD Invitational Marching Contest (Sept. 28)

They got the show on the field, and their last movement was on the met on Thursday, but that's very impressive to be done and confident enough to perform it this early anyways I'm sure this week will be just cleaning for them. Will be rooting for a higher placement from them.

Pasadena Memorial -  Really love their drill and music. 

Clements - Also enjoy their drill. Musically, they are not doing so hot.

Channelview - Their show is much cleaner, and they sound much better compared to last year.

Deer Park - Interesting show concept which I love. Marching is suffering a bit

I would say that Dickinson will probably take winds and percussion. Not sure about color guard tho

Do y'all think Paetow Band will make top 5 in the top 10 finalist at Alvin ISD Invitational Marching Contest (Sep. 28th 2024) I don't know because the concept of the show is good, it's if we can play it out properly. (Paetow marcher) If you don't know already we play Taylor Swift, Destiny's Child, and a bit of the Blue Devil's show from last year. That impactful opening hit of the Cut-Offs. What do y'all think??? (Be honest, I'm genuinely curious, the competition this year is interesting)

Fulshear performed at Alvin, drove to BOA finishing 13th (missing finals by 1 slot) and then drove back to Alvin for finals. Stadiums were 55 min apart. It was a LONG day.

They had a great performance at BOA! After I saw their performance in prelims I had them slated and I thought for sure they were going to be in finals.

Does anyone know about what happened to clements? I thought they got 5th at Area E finals last year? I'm quite surprised by yesterday's results.
