Need to verify I was the first hispanic female drum major at Brackenridge high school year 1963-1964.

Good afternoon:

I am looking for any type of archives, focusing on the first Hispanic female Drum Major in San Benito High School and/or the state of Texas. My mom was the first Hispanic Drum Major at San Benito High School back in the 60's and I was just wondering if she was the first female Hispanic drum major in Texas.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
