I will be heading over to Region 25 at Kimbrough stadium this weekend to see the 6A bands.  Should be able to compare PESH to Wylie and Wylie East.  Also hoping PSHS has improved since McKinney Invitational.  I haven't seen either of the Wylie shows yet, excited to see them.  Anyway, hoping to gain some clarity where PESH stands in the competition.

Love to see Lake Travis here! A little curious why they’re here instead of going to TMC last weekend, but it’s good to see them supporting a program like Duncanville.

All bands to finals! Live on field interviews post performance, fan favorite votes and "chill" areas to relax midvday if needed.

An 1.5 hour break, after just 4 bands seems strange to me. 
 

Awards at 4, and all 16 bands going to finals…anybody have a a guess on what time finals would start (my guess is 6pm) and how they have ordered finals in past? Have a 3rd child with a commitment that day we have to work around. 😂

I have a crazy hunch that this contest is going to have some eyebrow raising results. Hebron will march away with a 2-3 point win imo. 
 

However, I have a sneaking feeling that Rockwall is going to sneak up on someone like Keller, SLC, or Wylie. Even though all 3 beat Rockwall at BOA prosper….OWB going to surprise someone and leave them wondering what happened. 
 

Super curious to see point differences between the Area 6C bands going 1 week out from Area…contest. Depending how things fall, it could be a mad dash to Nov 2 and that 6AC board will be 🔥 🔥 🔥 for the week.

Yes- finals will start at 6pm. Reverse placement order. Awards at 10:15pm after D-ville exhibition performance.

Awesome, thanks...yup, I'm going to need the RHS OWB to kick butt in prelims and get into those last block of finalist so I can get my 3rd kid where she needs to be and be back!  Ha.

There’s usually a link on the DMI website for directors who want to register their band (unless they changed it this year which I doubt). I’m sure it’s not super selective if there is some criteria to register as they were able to fit Wakeland in that one year last minute and it’s not like this contest has 25+ bands where time slots would be an issue. I could be wrong tho that’s just been my understanding of it. Did you hear something otherwise?

It's open registration.  And they're incredibly flexible and great hosts!
