Ninelets Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 I could be wrong, but I think that stopped after 2022 for Area F. Otherwise why would they have a separate draw for Finals. Quote

Ninelets Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Seems implemented, but I only say that because their next meeting isn’t until December. And they say implementing in Fall. Shrug. Guess people will find out either way! Sanif and BandKid08 2 Quote

Expand https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Bi0yU_4WOPI tw performed their full show in costume after the homecoming game tonite. good hicam angle too, tho the sides are a little cut off. kinda stunned by em again. they always pull it together circa UIL area. no exception this yr. so much more locked in musically and visually than i expected, except for those ugly block rotations + files near the start of the closer. really outstanding overall. still wish there was a bit more formal variety in the drill writing, more aesthetic appeal, fewer blocks and less fluttering. but that's the Vanderkolff way i guess. Expand You are correct, as usual, @packwick! The opening 40ish seconds is from the beginning of Wynton Marsalis’, “Home”. Popular Post TWHSPercDad Posted October 26, 2024 Popular Post Posted October 26, 2024 By the way, I don’t think the musical selections for TWHS’ show have been mentioned anywhere. So in case anyone is interested: Fantasia on Frenchman Street Liberty City - by Jaco Pastorious Invitation - by Bronislaw Kaper Interplay, for Piano Four-Hands and Orchestra - by David Gillingham Summertime, from the Opera “Porgy and Bess” - by George Gershwin Atchafalaya - by Snarky Puppy Home - by Wynton Marsalis Rubisco, TWHSParent and Parkwoodmom 3 Quote
