I completely do not see how a band that doesn’t get any awards at all diffs bands by a whole point difference. Lake ridge was pretty terrific, Berkner was solid, and colleyville visual was amazing. Each individual contest is incredibly important to the students especially and is supposed to be indicative of their performance. That said, marching band is still pretty subjective and the score card only shows one part of the story.
