Thank you for telling me this, my presumption totally messed with my predictions lol I was like coppell was so good how are they bottom half??

Some really great performances tonight!  Thanks for posting the link to stream this contest.  One group that I really loved tonight that I think has a lot of potential to do well this season is Timber Creek.  Their placement felt about right for me, but I feel like their show has a ton of room for growth and high effect.  I also really loved Waxahachie!

Great job to all who competed and all performers!

Thankfully the livestream was still up so I got to go watch the rest of finals, and everyone sounded amazing!! Marcus though, they are NOT messing around this season, and have retained all momentum from last season, and congrats on the W! Love seeing Aledo did so well, and to no surprise, they were incredible and think they will for sure be in finals at Bedford, can’t wait to see that show! Definitely surprised to see KC place 11th, didn’t really agree with that but other than that results seem right. Congrats to everyone who was here, can’t wait to see some of these shows live next weekend!

Im confused. I read on HEB marching contest that the top 6 bands from prelims would have the last 6 spots for finals.

Y’all I’m so confused ok so there were 14 bands that got scored in prelims right? And there were 12 bands that were scored in finals. But in finals coppell performed 6th and timber creek performed 7th. Which made me think they were performing with respect to the top 6/bottom 6 split which is stated by the HEB website. But obviously that doesn’t match with their prelims results. Ok so did a band that was originally going to perform in finals withdraw from the competition and they decided to score 4A class champ Krum instead, who normally would’ve performed in exhibition? Idk I’m so lost, I wasn’t there for prelims😅😭
