In previous years they started coming to this festival when their Area was at this stadium. I think for a first contest, mesquite is great for bands if they want to eaze into the contest season a little bit. It's a 1 and done and if you're one of the later groups to go it means no early morning but still a contest. Sort of treated like a dress rehearsal for the coming weekends. I was there for announcement of 1-3, 4 I heard from a middle school director. 6th someone posted so they probably heard from their director. If someone is going to host an event, they should ensure the scores and awards are posted or, at the very least, inform attendees when they can view them online. It's frustrating to have to rely on others to piece together the results based on what they remember or who stayed late enough to see them. This would be more understandable if the event were free to participate in and attend, but it wasn’t.
