GuardMom27 Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 I saw someone say they were taking 5 bands from Area H this year. Is this definite or just speculation? Quote

So far I don’t think we’ve ever been able to accomplish this in 5A Area H. —edited to add the link to refer back to after Region is over and we know how many will advance to area. There are 33 total bands so yeah, if we can get 25 bands getting 1s at region, we can take 5 to state! https://www.uilmusicregion11.org/uploads/1/3/5/3/13535811/_5a_area_h_mbc_schedule_2024_updated_8-27-24_use.pdf GuardMom27 and gregorydf01 2 Quote
lhbenlee Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 This area was redrawn for this UIL classification cycle and includes more bands than the past few years, so definitely a decent chance of getting 5 to state. GuardMom27 and LeanderMomma 2 Quote

Popular Post Bandmanio Posted October 8, 2024 Popular Post Posted October 8, 2024 Possible Bands at Area H 5A - Bands in BOLD received a 1st division last year (2023) Region 11 (9) (8) Wagner, Judson Veteran's Memorial, Eagle Pass CC Winn, Southwest, Legacy, Harlandale, McCollum, Southside, South San Region 14 North (9) (7) CC Carroll, CC King, CC Miller, CC Moody, CC Ray, CC Veteran's Memorial, Alice, Gregory Portland, Flour Bluff Region 29 (11) (9) John Jay, Samuel Champion, Boerne, Highlands, Brackenridge, Jefferson, Lanier, Edison, Burbank, Fox Tech, Kerrville Tivy Region 32 (5) (5) Leander, Glenn, Rouse, Cedar Park, Liberty Hill A total of 29 groups received a 1st division last year so if it were the same this year, 5 groups would advance.
