Clean and boring will always beat clean and ridiculously hard.  To be honest I almost think that they refuse to let that difficult of a show win because of what it would do to 4A.  The standard would be through the roof and most bands would be left in the dust.

Again just my opinion.  You can and probably will disagree.

you are the only one hating. You are going around to everyone saying your wrong, your just hating, when factually the past three years celina has won off of incredibly boring shows, playing simple plain music. Last year, yeah they were really clean, but this year had so many parts with super crooked lines, missteps, the whole 9 yards. No matter what happened we all know the students play their hearts out and give it their all, and everyone recognizes that, but that just doesn’t take away from the fact that their show is basic and simple and lacks creativity.

Dude I’m here to celebrate everyone! I’m sorry you are so upset. Every band should be proud of their accomplishments.

So many bands this year qualified for the competition for the first time, made finals for the first time, and maybe medaled for the first time (Davenport?). I’m thrilled for everyone.

No one is upset? I am just stating how 4A is. I am constantly telling all bands and students that they should always be proud of their accomplishments, and that everyone did amazing. It’s not like it’s some new topic that no one agrees with, it’s been this way with 4A a very long time, right now with Celina, before them with Argyle. People can have civil discussions about the grading and judging that took place, it is a forum for a reason. No one is trying to hate on the students.
