Why Aubrey in 4th.... at State?

Just a thought that I put out there, and I have seen their show and it is good, hopefully it does make top 10. There were three bands who's show I saw (fully/a majority of) that I feel like should've made to state this year. Again, my opinion for this, but I think that Kennedale, Springtown, and Alvarado should have made state this year.

But I mean, the bands that made state (the ones I saw and the others I have not yet) have some really good parts and pieces of them that made them qualify for state. Either way, good luck guys and have a lot of fun! But most importantly, give it your all!!! It may seem nervous at first if you are a first time marcher/prop mover/alternate, (I was like that two years ago my freshman year when I went to state) but in the end, it's not about the results of getting a trophy or not (if you are that competitive then it might be, i'm not throwing any shade to those people), but it's about being able to make new friends with people from other schools and have a really amazing time performing and putting on the best show that you can perform! (Sorry for my little rant, wanted to provide an anecdote here lol).

Call me crazy but I think other bands like Sulphur Springs, Bridge City can Lumberton could potentially beat Farmersville and Aubrey, I think top ten will potentially be

1. Sulphur Springs

2. Celina

3. Davenport

4. China Springs

5. Panther Creek

6. Lumberton

7. Bridge City

8. North Lamar/ Farmersville

9. North Lamar/ Farmersville

10. I really don’t know who to put here, lots of great bands

All the bands who will be at state are all very talented, with some bands having somewhat worse reps at area than region. I hope the best for all bands performing at state this year and can’t wait to watch it!

I respect your top 10, but I mean, why Sulphur Springs over Celina? No shade to anyone who goes to Sulphur Springs (your show is really good), but Celina is back-to-back state marching champions in 4A for 2022 and 2023

To all the Area B/C folks…as a resident of Area E, I’d love to hear how this stacks up against the stars of your region…lmk please🙏

As a person who's in Area B, hearing this for the first time, it sounds really good and it has a good tone and blend. In my opinion, I feel like I see this show for an advance to finals, and in my opinion (again) a solid 5 to 6 (not last, but not at the top, still really good though)

Everyone has an opinion. And everyone gets to judge when you put that opinion out.

I don’t disagree with your top 3. I think 4 and 5 is not right. I’ve never heard of Aubrey and Farmersville is good but there are at least 2 bands that I have seen that are better.

I'm curious to know which two bands you think would be in the top 5 (replacing 4 and 5)?

What a showing from West Plains with the Rouse 19 show(one of my favs)!! Some great sounds all around, that percussion was on fire and drill was really clean, could definitely see them in finals, great job y’all!

Strong showing from Burnet!! Love the musical selections, Wine Dark Sea is one of my favorites, and they played it so well. Great job Sprano soloists in the ballad, and a strong push into the final moments. Great visually as well, loved the guard pre-show, amazing job!!
