this might be true but last week as in the week before san antonio they were much cleaner and precise

This is the first time I heard of people noticing the guard swimming behind the corals! Hope that’s what you’re referring to, it’s my favorite tiny detail in their show.

TWHS has never finished higher than 4th at UIL state. Ever. Would be great to finally beat that, but the competition is sooooo tough....

Vista ridge has been criminally robbed this season—im sitting in the 2nd row rn and there’s no brass line better. My friend next to me was crying during the ballad and the sounds is so huge and the trumpet solo is insane and the beginning is insane and Taylor Trevino went crazy.

That ballad is absolutely stunning and so moving. The kids sell it so completely.

I don't expect the Vandegrift directors and band to take Saturday's results and roll over - I'd rather win against someone at their best than by default.  If Lewisville bands do indeed sweep UIL I want it to be with everyone giving their best performance.  No one should be able to say " you won, but...". It's just not a good feeling knowing you only won because the other guys f'd up.

Let’s go, Vista Ridge! Beautiful sound and show. I saw them at BoA SA finals and their wall of sound was so powerful yet balanced. They might have had the most “in your face” sound of the night.

Honestly. I watched in multi-cam today and the performers are so expressive and 100% bought in. It was very touching.

Yes, Lewisville ISD is having a great year, proud of these kids for certain. But just WOW - how entertaining the shows have been this year  I know the judges are looking for different things than the audience.  You can really enjoy a great show that maybe wasn't technically up to standard and the judges are way better at that than I am.

Yup.  And the judges are also looking for different things in UIL compared to BOA.

Vandegrift, Vista Ridge, TWHS, are all in it for the top 3, so far today.
