Congratulations to our 14 finalist bands!!! Big ups to Seven Lakes, continuing the epic post season, WOW!!! And too Bridgeland for keeping the streak, Keller back in finals (I told ya'll), and.... PEARLAND TOP HALF. LETS GO!!! Tomorow is gonna be awesome!!

Congrats to all the finalists. Super excited to see one more run for all of these performances since this seems end-of-the-road for most bands. What a difficult conference to judge! I will be super interested to see how everything turns out. Have fun tomorrow

istg the prelims judges are always on crack i remember one of them gave reagan like 27th or smth last year

Not sure I completely agree with this holistically, since overall, the results seem pretty chalky to what I expected. But there are def a few categories for some bands that seem sort of lost. But this is typical as per the judging process. Overall, I would say this is pretty accurate to the top-14.

I'm not even going to worry about prelim scores.  If history is any guide, they mean less than you think.  Every band will rehearse tomorrow morning, make adjustments, and try to show up and put on their best show. Tomorrow is a whole new ballgame with different judges.  Good luck to all of these kids who worked so hard to get here.  Root for your own band, cheer for them all, and appreciate the work they all did to get here and the amazing shows we're about to see tomorrow. It's really an amazing accomplishment just to make it to state.  260+ bands, 40 make state, 14 make finals.  These last 14 are the best of the best, and may they all deliver THEIR personal best tomorrow.

Does anyone know the judging situation for finals? Same judges as prelims?

I'm so happy to see Keller in finals, after missing in BOA.  This is just what they needed to bounce back.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Vista Ridge medal tomorrow night. I don't think they'd had issues with their ensemble scores until tonight. Although I'm unsure if their percussion will still score 1st overall with their terrible slotting.

Guys I’m so happy about Pearland being top half, to any kidos on here from there, ya’ll have no idea how much the show means to me. Pines is some of my favorite source music, and the production y’all give of it brings the biggest smile to my face 🙃Also wanted to give a shoutout to all the bands who season ended today. Regardless of the results, you are among the best of the state, and got to perform where many only dream of being, so be proud of yourself for all the hard work and dedication you gave to get here. I can’t wait to see how some of these programs that had historic seasons do next year!! Thank you for entertaining us all season long with your awesome shows!!!
