Audience choice based on crowd reaction would go to Pearland or Woodlands since all of Houston is inside the Alamodome right now lol

early in Flo mo’s set - they formed what looked like was supposed to be an infinity symbol- but it didn’t look like one.  Am I missing something reading the intent?  Or was it just “dirty”.  I honestly don’t know and am not trying to throw Flo Mo under the bus.  They are a great band!   I’m just trying to learn here…

This show is based on the art and life of Yayoi Kusama, who beyond having a love for polka dots, subscribes to the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, which means perfectly imperfect. She thinks that art is never finished, that it’s an ever evolving process. So I always thought that the imperfect infinity symbol was a nod to that never ending process of perfecting her art.

Yeah..idk why they either hate them or think they're super dirty, they literally were 2nd yesterday and not far from Hebron and were just as if not cleaner today lol

I think going purely off rep isn’t necessarily the best idea with the way these bands have been improving, it’s totally possible, now is it really SUPER likely, maybe not, but I didn’t expect seven lakes to make finals lol

Yeah when someone says it’s absurd with zero explanation I’m assuming it’s based on reputation. Did they actually watch seven lakes? Were they here in person? 7L was spectacular. I’ve got no interest in pumping them up, they are a direct Bridgeland competitor. Just giving credit where it is due.

Good luck to all bands tonight. This was by far the BEST state finals I have ever seen. I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Band is bigger and better in Texas. The dedication of all of these kids is just remarkable (and that’s an understatement). I am proud of every single kid on that field right now. To say that this was an emotional 2 days would not do justice for how I have felt watching it all. GO TEXAS AND GO BAND!!!
