I think that area I should be redone because some bands had 2 chances to do their show due to weather delays.

Well, those bands didn’t have 2 chances, they had one which was cut off in the middle, and had to restart already fatigued, some had to go incredibly late and were incredibly tired,  and it was either restart your show after 30 minutes of having to stay focused, and “re-warm up” over and over, or it was just start where you stopped and hope the judges remember how good you were.

I see where your coming from with this as I could see where they get advantages BUT there’s also significant disadvantages like already being tired and losing that performance mindset they could highlight where they went wrong for sure but I bet most of the kids were extremely tired and they sat there for a long time.

please explain to me how this would work logistically for the bands, volunteers, and the stadium...

Wouldn't it still be the same outcome with top 4? 

also state is NEXT week.

Life is hard…things happen. We make the best of it. These bands didn’t get a “do over” because of lightning. Hardly a competitive advantage.

Ever heard of "icing the kicker" in football? That's essentially what happened to CyFair and CyWoods. Not an advantage. Not necessarily a disadvantage, either. Just an interruption. They both did just fine and we're all moving on.
