The design team has been hard at work creating 3 entirely different show concepts for each of the next 3 years. In doing so, they are laying a strong foundation for Vanguard's continued success, keeping them at the forefront of the drum corps activity. In 2007, the Vanguard is pleased to present to you: In 2008 the Vanguard looks forward to bringing you "3hree" followed by "Clue" in 2009. Quote
TX Suh-nare Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 OK, I'm sorry, but How in the world is the announcer going to announce "!"?! "On the field, from Santa Clara, California, presenting their 2007 Program-What?! How do I pronounce THAT?!" Quote

I think some people will go just to hear the announcer attempt it. Quote
bluebellbrass07 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I'm sure they will let the announcer know ahead of time on how to pronounce it. He may just say The music of Ravel and Resphigi. Who knows Quote
Skippy Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 "On the field, from Santa Clara, California, presenting their 2007 Program!" That's how. Quote
G'townPIT Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 So are those three shows related in concept? Or are they three different themes that they just decided to go with? I mean, why would they decide to pick their shows 2/3 years in advance other than the obvious reasons? Quote

MartinHorn Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 It'll be interesting to see how this turns out for SCV. Quote
Trumpet Master Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Or maybe... On the field from...performing their 2007 program (shouts at the top of his lungs) EXCLAMATION POINT: The Music of Ravel and Resphigi Yup, that is definetly it! Quote
Trumpet Master Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 QUOTE (DesertWind @ Oct 11 2006, 08:27 PM) It's "Eureka". Oh, ok! Quote

Xukaniz Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I want the announcer to just scream really loud. That would make my life I think.... Quote

I figured earlier when you said it was Eureka that Nick Williams had said that, since you go to UNT. I'm trying to imagine him saying the show title, and all i can hear is a completely monotone, unenthusiastic, "eureka..." Quote
DesertWind Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Ahahaha, that's how he said it to me. Quote
Zerosario Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Ah! how is Nick... i went to a SASi camp at TAMUK and he was Mr. Conducting... Judson HS 2003 Quote
