rsb3
I'm a HUGE DCI fan. I really want to get into drum corps by the time I graduate. My biggest hesitation for trying out is that I really don't understand how these kids balance school throughout the year and keeping up their attendance at camps. How do you go about getting into the drum corps world successfully?
Moose
Most Corps are aware that students will have school conflicts, and are fine with you missing a camp or two because you have a concert or SAT or something. You just have to let' em know a couple of weeks in advance. Its not too bad.

TX Suh-nare
Yeah. Drum corps is important if you're in it, but they know school comes before drum corps. If you can't make it to a camp, then you just can't.
