bored2damax Posted October 17, 2006 Author Posted October 17, 2006 Anyone went and have reviews for the bands??? We didnt get to see any of the bands because we got there, hung around the trailer, warmed-up, perform and then leave. Se i didnt get to see any of the bands. Quote
FastFrwrd Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Same here (came, warmed up, performed, loaded, left). I can tell you about the bands I have seen at football games and such... (Region XII) MacArthur - doing a show featuring some great richard saucedo music. They're doing a good job, made 12th at Houston BOA, so nice work! Reagan - saw them at Houston. Obviously, verrrry clean, similar to things they've done in the past, but the old mantra "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" has never been more applicable than for them at this show. Churchill - minor "wardrobe malfunction" issue in Houston aside, great music and drill. Colorguard is excellent as always. A consistently dominant force, this year is no exception. We saw Lee from the side during staging, and they seemed fine. Also, we saw Clemens during staging for our exhibition at the Judson hosted marching contest - they sounded excellent. I can't actually remember Roosevelt's or Madison's show right now, but we already played them and I don't remember any real problems. Should shape up to be an interesting area (especially with the severe level of redistricting). Quote
bored2damax Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 I thought clemens move down to 4A??? Quote
Fortisimo Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 We were at Pennington tonighta nd got 1's as well. There were ten bands in region 5 to get division ones (all but two). We are part of area B. Quote
TubaRed_89 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 That's horrible even if I didn't like my director I don't know that I would write something about them like that. That is just wrong. Very rude. Quote

G'townPIT Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 What about Pflugerville, is that supposed to be the other Cedar Park? Quote
VRHSRangerTBone Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Pflugerville is in Region 18. They moved on, but they're not in 26. The other 7 bands are correct though. Quote
