Fred J Miller. There was one in Houston the week before but we wanted to go to San Antonio. It was akward because we had a great concert band program (honor band , midwest, etc.) and we have a good marching band(4th in state and 1 point away from forcing a 3 way tie for second) and not a single person had even heard of us  o well I guess we aren't as big as we though we were

I have definitely heard of Langham Creek. Our band competeted against them in 2003(we gott beaten badly) at the North Texas Marching Championship. Langham Creek got 2nd and Duncanville got 1st, though I though Langham Creek deserved it much more.

They used to be at Baylor University but do to the State finals in 2002 when it was 40 degrees outside and pouring rain on a grass field and by the time my school performed (30th out of 31 bands) it was a huge mud pit. But they moved it to the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX

I am not entirely sure. I know we are doing BOA Arlington and UIL Region as always. We will need another marching competition to round out the year, so my guess is yes.

There is no way that Langham Creek deserved 1st place at the North Texas Championships. I think the judges called the competition correctly. Langham and Duncanville both played very well, but Duncanville did march their butts off. People think that they can't march and that they don't move much, but you could tell they had a ton of sets and they marched really well (and fast). They have my total respect and I just so happen to attend one of their rival high schools, which is also very, very good.

Do you go to PESH? If so, how is Mr. V doing?

I remember right after he moved from Duncanville to PESH that every time we would play eachother we would make large "V" signs with our instruments and that his Microphone was always on the same frequency as ours.

Good Times... ^_^
