You know who I'm talking about. It's that one guy/gal who the whole section hates. The same person who smells funny. This is where you rant (without naming names) about how much whoever it is annoys the daylights out of you. Go ahead, let it loose. Oh, and stories about what happens to them are always funny too.(You know what I mean, Salesmonkey) <_<

haha. stupid underclassmen who moved here and thinks she's better than EVERYONE ELSE..even when our BD has pulled her aside and told her shes marching wrong. she's in our last band and still acts like shes the ****. she's not. believe me.

We had three freshmen last year. One was awesome, fit in with the section, and is our only sophomore this year. One was really loud, annoying, not a exceptionally bad player but definately not the best in the entire band...The third(i will refer to him as "number 3")...well he was an exceptionally bad player, bad tone, couldnt play, couldn't march, and was basically bad everything. That was annoying but tolerable. What pissed us off was that he failed to drink The Brew, our most important tradition, that everyone that ones to be accepted must partake in. Basically we have a potluck before homecoming in which people bring anything ranging from KFC to Brocholi flavored soda and garlic extract. Then we put all of these "ingredients"(usually about 20) into a gatorade bottle and shake it up. All freshmen and seniors have to drink it then the soph and juniors can volunteer to drink whats left if they want. Well when it was time to drink it "number 3" was nowhere to be find. After asking round we found that he was hiding in the bathroom stall with his uniform on. Our leader when into the bathroom. Slid the gatorade bottle under the door and told him that if he poured some down the toilet we would be content and leave him alone. He slid it back under and said no. After that he was no longer a member of the trombone section. Just some kid who was in the band and happened to play t-bone.

Yeah... i just realized that its the hardest to be accepted into the T-bone section... We always have some crazy tradition or idea... then theres the 'one' who then becomes a person who just happened to play the T-bone. Trust me we have one who is just too normal to be considered

Go bones...

Well, my "one kid" is a freshman who nearly got me and the other upperclassmen suspended for "hazing" in our freshman initiation... he's like totally antisocial, and his mom hangs around him ALL THE TIME!! it's sooo irritating, it's like dragging the section down sometimes.

BAH. Stupid parents and stupid hazing crap. My 8th grade year the Leander T-Bones chased down, tackled, then forced The Brew down someones throat when he tried to refuse to drink it. We would have so done that last year if we wouldnt have been suspended/arrested.

Lol though at some times theres that one person who is TOO NORMAL and will reject... its a Trombone sections worst nightmare Woah! I just realized... you are from Leander! that means you have the other Gundersen!! lol we have his brother! I'm sad we don't really have a freshman/ new member initiation though we're too new of a school i guess.

There's this one person in my section (pit/Front Ensemble/whatever you call it). Said person thinks they are always perfect. (Let's call this person A, shall we?" So A thinks they can't be wrong. Never misses a note, never slows down, speeds up, always plays a perfect show. Always set up on time, never late to rehersal, and when A is, A makes up some lame excuse for it. A doesn't accept responsibility, but treats others in the section as if A is section leader, when A is most definitely not. A acts like a hypocrite. Stands around the trailer for ten mintues, then yells at the freshman for not loading. A argues back with everyone, including the directors.

Frustrating, eh?

It's this one guy in the pit. He's a junior, and he's the guy that all the girls love since he's so sweet, but he tries to be annoying, and he's brought out the worst in me on too many occasions. He's so annoying, every guy, and some of the girls, in the band can't stand him.

Oddly enough, the guy who had that spot before became or band's vice president...Irony :D

theres this one kid (hes a junior) who is so annoying that i have had to hold myself back from kicking his butt. it was funny last year when somebody used a fake screen name and pretended to be a girl found the kid on aim and had a very revealing inaproprate coversation. the next day there were about 50 copies of that conversation printed out and passed around. needless to say that kid was embarresd and when a director got a copy he gave it to the principal and three kids got suspended. it was funny though.

So everyone knows this guy..

but I shall not mention.

He is annoying and weird.

He took a picture of this really pretty french horn player in our band and started going around and saying that he was her boyfriend.

But he also thinks he is kooler than everyone else and is proud that he never practices..

and he tells me!! HE TELLS ME! I'm one of the few of the cnets that actually bring their horn home to practice.. I frown upon the people who say they love band, but don't practice.

arrgg, the cnets will know who I am talking about.

Football Players make the worst marchers. Hands down. They think they're badasses, then they come and bother those of us who are. 8)

Depends on the person, we had one really good tuba football player my freshmen year.

Jacobs. Is it bring threads back to life day? were you THAT bored?

well, that one kid is still in band...and he will more than likely end up alternate again.

Hm, ours are quite numerous. We have two in my section that I just CAN'T STAND!

what's worse is since I'm Sl, I hafta be nice and respectful towards them, or else the director gets on to me. THey're annoying, loud and cocky and think that they are the best, when I could beat them with both hands tied behind my back.

then there are just a few random individuals here and there that don't bother me nearly as much, but can still be quite annoying.
