MeloMelophone Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 This is the hardest. You have great bands that have all have a chance of making it to state. Quote

Though I wasn't in the stands at the time (and thus didn't have the best view), It looked to me to be the same music AND drill (I recognized several of the sets from the video I DVD of the CP 04 show earlier that morning) Quote
Shiloh Phoenix Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 b is harder for UIL bands. d is harder for BOA bands. maybe...hmmm...thety're both pretty tough. Quote
clarinetchicka Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 yeah, the anderson show is the one from CP '04. i think they bought it from the guy who arranged it. Quote
I<3thebox Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 CP's 04 show is an original arrangement of the Planets by Key Poulan -which the CP staff contracted him to do, there is a MIDI on his site of the arrangement and is available to buy by anyone now. As for the drill Michael Gaines did the original one, I didn't see Anderson so idk. The drum book is also VERY similar err... was now that the season is over lol Quote
TubaRed_89 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Area B definately the hardest Area in the State. Hands down no other Area has as many good bands as Area B. Quote
whitewing09 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 IMHO... you cant really say that area B is "definitely" the hardest, i mean look at state finals, ya marcus and bell took home the top spots but none of the other bands from area B made it, then you have 4 outta the 5 bands from area D that made it. and area D didnt exactly have a easy finals i mean look at who else they have Georgetown, Leander, Westlake,Round Rock, etc. those arent push over bands. Wow! It's been a few years since it's been said that Leander isn't just a pushover band. I hope within the next few years Leander starts to really come back. I would hate for 1999 to be Leander's one and only golden age. Quote
whitewing09 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 well yall arent... i saw yalls show twice at westlakes marching festival and yall looked purdy got dang good and had an amazing sound for a smaller band Quote
