Serardian Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Richland's "iShow" I love it! If anyone knows what competition this is from, let me know please. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Hey, that's the video I sent somebody. I don't remember who, though. It's from Richland's exhibition performance at Birdville. Quote
Warfact Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 This is our show "Medusa" by Key Poulan from last year at Area B Finals. We got 7th which made us alternate to state, the top 5 bands being Marcus, Bell, Richland, Haltom, and Hebron(order may be slightly off). Quote

dtxtrmpt Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I'll hopefully be able to get recordings of the 3 advancing bands to state from Area F. That is if I can get my exchange student to record them. I better be nice to him! Quote

Congrats at USSBA yesterday. I saw the show and loved it. Elmer Fudd chasing Bugs Bunny...that was awesome. And, did I see Pee Wee Herman (the one on the bike) on the field too? Quote

Donezo Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Here's a video of Poteet at Plano East: http://www.poteetpirateband.org/video/PMI07.html It's early season, but it's the whole show. EDIT: http://www.poteetpirateband.org/video/Area07.html Area finals. MUCH better. Quote
selby Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Creekview H.S. - kNOw strings...kNOw limits video from TOC finals, fourth movement wasn't complete, but hopefully we'll have a video from SA. Should be online at shortly, waiting on YouTube to process it or whatever. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I was out playing tennis while Creekview was rehearsing, albeit from about a mile and a half away. It was cool to have a marching band accompany me while I hit tennis balls. I'm really interested in seeing the show live. I have a vid from UIL Region, but haven't watched it completely yet. Quote

Any chance you could get that video up? Our region performance was much better than the one in finals at TOC, at least I think so. It'd be great if you would. Quote
fooblykong Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 here's a video of our (sherman) show from this year. This video is our Finals performance at Area. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3...53477&hl=en Quote
Donezo Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Very cool show. Definitely the highest degree of difficulty I've seen from Sherman and it's executed quite well. It's interesting to hear a different take on "Urban Dances" after having Poteet's arrangement ingrained in my head. Quote
Ern3sto09 Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I find it interesting that Poteet uses Urban Dances as their closer, and Sherman uses it as our opener. As cool and fun as it is to listen to it, I don't think its very climatic or impactful enough from a musical stand point, and if Poteet is to fall from triangle grace this year, that could be a factor. Or they might still blow everyone away and take state again. Quote
