RobinsonSax07 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Watch out for A&M Consolidated. Thier band director came and gave us a clinic on monday night and he is very intimidating and he knows how to get things done. Made us 50% better in 2.5 hours, IMO. Quote

barisaxy08 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 you have not seen anything scary until you have seen Jodie Rhodes... Quote
bored2damax Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 You aint seen nothin' till you see the churchill guard instructor. We were walking by their warm-up at regions after our performance and their instructor was just screaming at them. Honestly, that is pretty scary considering that its before their show. I would understand if it is practice but men... Quote
trumpetman1288 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Mr. Sloane is just a wee bit of a perfectionist. Pretty easy going for the most part, but if you take a look at what he has done in his life in both drum corps (as a performer) and an instructor for Churchill, you'd understand more so why he is that way. whitewing09 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 lol i remember last year i think it was... i heard that someone heard him scream "LETS GET KRUNK!!" at BOA San Antonio. purdy funny stuff Quote
G'townPIT Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Fear is Jeremy Spicer with his hat on backwards conducting the band like a demon lol. I swear that his hands could break through cement blocks because he conducts so hard, but it's cool. Quote
whitewing09 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 lmao. i have a question are these directors like Mike Sloan and Jeremy Spicier like younger directors? Quote
actualgirltrombone Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 J. Spice is only like... 27 or 28. Its so funny, a lot of the time parents think that hes one of the high school kids, especially with the hat on backwards. Its kinda scary when he gets excited and shakes the tower... sometimes the drum major almost falls off . He's awesome though. Quote
Danpod Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Sloan is sort of a young director sort of. He's been doing stuff with Churchill since the early 90's. He was also the Drum Major for Phantom Regiment in 1988 I believe. Quote
jbrih13 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Jodie Rhodes will make u pee on yourself she is sooooooooooo scary. At times she can be ok. Mr. Hall is pretty mean to. Quote
