Serardian Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 There were two flutes one time that were smiling at practice. The section leader took them inside the school for "sectionals." They never came out. We never smiled again. Quote
ClarinetGlissandoInBlue Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 ^ hahaha nice...is your band hall haunted with their jovial ghosts now? Quote

jbrih13 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 (Drummer Chick) "invisible dart" game went araound for a while, it started out as the pit against the cymbals, where you would make eye contact with your target and hold your hand to your mouth and make a sound, they then had a "dart" in their neck, and had to lie on the ground I thought we were the only losers that did that....LMAO... We go around screaming like indians (or africans in my case lol ) and then we do the dart thing and the person we do it to freezes then falls out and dies...hahaha Quote
lionbc Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 We have a band lock-in, and at this we set up tvs and X-Boxes/X-Box 360s in our our school's choir room. Halo(2) is the name of the game. We have 16 people max playing. I played once, and I was "Baby Jesus"(not my X-Box)...everyone was yelling, "KILL BABY JESUS", that's how bad I am at Halo. It was fun though. Quote
BassoonPadwan Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 We dance! *starts shaking butt* Quote
fourmalleteer Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Classic Super Smash Brothers competition with the drumline that's all I've got to say. Quote
RodeoChamp12 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 We have weird hobbies . . . in my band we swat the invisable flies that happen to land on each other, and play sax. ball (launching big wads of paper out our bells) when the band directors arent looking Quote

Others (aka--the ones with CARS) go to Taco bell and some end up going to CVS Pharmacy next to the school for last-minute gift buying for the Good Sportsmanship League (gee, I wonder who that is...?) yeah, trumpets are pretty manly aha, the BAND doesn't really do anything... at all for fun. all i can think of is that trumpets tend to freestyle and play "big booty" on the bus that's about it :| Quote
guardboi08 Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 We have an annual brass vs. percussion football game on our practice field Quote
teh_branday Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 fun? whats this word related with band? ...i miss those days where fun was actually related with band!! haha, just kidding. before band camp even started, us officers of the band had a meeting with the directors and ...we were rather surprised when our assistant director suggested a lock-in..we loved the idea...but, we have no idea what happened to that either. we used to also have bowling on the sundays where we didn't have school the following monday, but...i believe Steele does that now (at least...thats what the sign on the door said one time when i dropped my sister off). so...a lot of our fun FUN went away. but we have fun in our ways...: - making fun of our directors...especially the things he says to me are always put in the most...perverted ways for some reason. - on the buses, b/c we have our crazy drum major and a couple of (as they said once) "token black guys", they sing any thing they want....do "peanut butter jelly time" in the middle of the bus or in the band hall. - and...i really can't think of anything else right now...surprising. ooh...i should suggest ice skating to the directors for next semester. haha.
