n3rdu5
I am utterly in shock at finals. Not in a bad way. Just totally against what I predicted. Which is actually really cool because I love it when that happens sometimes, ya know? But a HUGE congrats to everyone!! Remember, we are all winners in life
Skippy
Bell had the 2nd highest BOA Regional score of all time. The highest was Winston Churchill at Waco in 1997 with a 96.00. Man, Congratulations LD Bell.

Serardian
The Woodlands, Cedar Park, Richland, Haltom, and Clear Brook are also coming back home. I'd venture to guess most of them are.
fourmalleteer
So they head back home, then go back to SA for State?

rsb3
Ok, someone please answer this question for me: Is Ronald Reagan going to Grand Nats? I just went to the BOA site and looked under the "enrolled bands" link, only to find Ronald Reagan NOWHERE! Am I just missing something? At first I thought I just missed it, but I honestly can't find it on their performance schedule for the day...

rsb3
Is this because it's a state year for them? (I'm thinking you're probably going to answer yes lol)
Lustra.exe
yes. i would expect that is why their show is the way it is.
isuckatdrums
nopeunfortunately enough, bowie didn't make it i'm a bowie band member and i'm pretty sure we didn't make it :| bleh i thought our show was actually quite good one of the better ones we've had the feeling seemed pretty mutual amongst band members and directors as well ...it feels strange to be home so early O_o personally, i think we deserved to make it, but i'm not going to complain because those're some really good bands in finals. you guys did great man. i loved the show. i hope you get better luck next time. Aegis Fang
Marcus = funniest show ever. And to anyone in Cedar Park, you're now my favorite. That was the most amazing High School brassline I've ever heard in my entire life. Thank you for making my 21 dollar ticket worth it =)
Trumpeter07
Thank you Aegis Fang. You have no idea what that means to our line.
Xenon
OK, here's some extra stuff that I have been able to find out: Bowie was infact 13th place in Prelims. The following are ranks (I don't have scores) for each of the captions for the top 3 bands: LD Bell: Mus Ind - 1 Mus Ens - 2 Vis Ind - 1 Vis Ens - 2 Mus GE1 - 3 Mus GE2 - 1 Vis GE - 2 The Woodlands: Mus Ind - 5 Mus Ens - 3 Vis Ind - 3 Vis Ens - 1 Mus GE1 - 2 Mus GE2 - 4 Vis GE - 1 Marcus: Mus Ind - 2 Mus Ens - 1 Vis Ind - 4 Vis Ens - 5 Mus GE1 - 1 Mus GE2 - 2 Vis GE -
The Richland Trumpet
Let's hope those Ensemble scores don't translate so directly to the state competition, seeing as how there is no individual scores. And to save someone a post, this is because there are no field judges.
