ClarinetGlissandoInBlue Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 our season is OVER. sad, but kinda glad. Pasadena Memorial lost to Katy, 30-14. With 4minutes left in the half, we were AHEAD of KATY, 14-7. Then two turnovers gave them all the momentum, and they showed why they are the #4 team in America. I really wished that we could have kept it up and actually upset them though, that'd make a good movie. Quote
borchnork Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 haha, I love watching those sorts of games live where you always think "FORGET REMEMBER THE TITANS! THIS IS AWESOME!!!" Sorry to hear about those losses you guys, but you seem to have held on pretty well against some very amazingly renowned teams. Quote

sax5warrior Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 (edited) The Dynasty has come to an abrupt halt. I feel sorry for them...I think...I didn't feel sorry when they lost on national television though. Sometimes thats life and they have realized it. SLC Dynasty #2 RIP 2001-2007 WTF!!! sl CARROLL LOST!!! Edited December 4, 2007 by sax5warrior Quote
thePIXELelement Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I wasn't surprised that they lost to Abilene...Abilene is a good football team and they only had one loss on the season and that was to Odessa Permian who went undefeated up until Saturday when Euless Trinity got their revenge when they beat them 38-14. ClaireAnnette07 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 The University of Texas football team has accepted an invitation to the Holiday Bowl in San Diego or something. It's not the ROSE BOWL, but it's another game I get to watch on TV! Quote
crazyjakeup Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I didn't feel sorry when they lost on national television though. those florida kids are all convicts and fathers... florida doesnt have the same elidgibility(sp?) rules as we do in texas... im pretty sure if texas had the same rules that some inner city dallas or houston schools would kill every other team... thePIXELelement Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 those florida kids are all convicts and fathers... florida doesnt have the same elidgibility(sp?) rules as we do in texas... im pretty sure if texas had the same rules that some inner city dallas or houston schools would kill every other team... Not all of them were "convicts" or "fathers"... Actually a good portion were offered scholarships to play football and their QB has a 3.7 GPA and is in the top 10% of his class... Quote
sax5warrior Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 and their QB has a 3.7 GPA and is in the top 10% of his class... HEY! I have a 3.718251 GPA and I am not in the Top 10%. Somethings wrong here. Quote
crazyjakeup Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 in most schools in texas you need a 4.2 or higher to be a part of the top 10%... Quote
thePIXELelement Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 in most schools in texas you need a 4.2 or higher to be a part of the top 10%... Good point, but you shouldn't underestimate their academic capabilities just because they are "inner-city youth" Quote
crazyjakeup Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 well that is only if you are nieve to that region... Quote
