Higgins Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 ClaireAnnette07 said: I'm very sad. Not only did my high school lose homecoming (which is tradition since we won last year) but UT lost against OU by a touchdown. I screamed into my pillow--yeah, I decided to go home to Houston instead of Dallas to the Cotton Bowl-- when OU intercepted the ball during the 4th quarter. Mack Brown's call to put Colt McCoy in there a week after he had a concussion was horrible. Ugh. And despite the fact he had a concussion a week earlier, he had his best game of the season thus far. While I'm not happy we lost, I'm happy the team finally came out and played football. Colt didn't lose it for us, that was Jamaal, fumbling on the 5 and dropping a pass on the 20. Both would have been touchdowns and given us the lead. Don't blame Colt, he played a good game. I know, I was there =) Quote
borchnork Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 YAY! We're 1-5 NOW!!! (1-2 in district) we beat Mckinney North 42-10 on Friday! I think that moved us up 2 or 3 spots in the district rankings. Not sure though... Quote
ClarinetGlissandoInBlue Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 we beat South Houston, voted the team with the most surprising season thus far on Chron.com, 27-0. our QB had 200+ yds rushing, 67 yds passing...lol Quote

smoke_dawg_08 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 we beat SA Madison 20-17 by a field goal with 3 secoinds left in the 4th, one of the biggest upsets in SA this week, YEA!!! Quote

Quote
thePIXELelement Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 3-3, now...Our QB is finally playing like a UT commit...Our running back is like whoa...Last year he had 1,999 yards rushing when he was playing for Sam Houston in Arlington... Quote

Band Of Champions Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Martin is doing very well this year. We're 6-0 overall and 3-0 in district. We just defeated rank 6 in the state Desoto. I think I hear those state bells ringing. I kid, I kid. Quote
borchnork Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 blegh.. we just lost to our cross town rival, Frisco High 55-14. so now we're 1-6 overall and 1-3 in district Quote
Band Of Champions Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 We won again! lol 7-0 and 4-0 in district, we already secured play-offs.. I'm pumped! Quote
ClarinetGlissandoInBlue Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Pasadena Memorial remains undefeated, 6-0. we beat LaPorte, 34-14. the 14 points all came from the late 3rd and 4th quarters, when we were playing our 3rd stringers. at that point our 4th string RB was in the game and I believe he now has negative rushing yards for the year...lol Quote
Fata1 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Our team is 7-0 now. We beat Western Hills 35 to 29 at our homecoming game on Friday. Quote

rpd Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 San Antonio Marshall is 4-4, fighting for the last spot in the playoffs. Thankfully though, we beat Taft, who is currently 5th in our district. So if we were tied at the end of the season, we would make it due to the head to head record. Quote
Nancy08 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 We lost our homecoming game... Its the only game we've lost in district. 14-5A Competition is crazy though. Hopefully we make playoffs... Quote
king_kool360 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 We (Sherman) have lost our homecoming games two years in a row! This year, we're... 3-4, I think. BATTLE OF THE AXE IS IN TWO WEEKS! Quote
