I've been thinking of some new fundraising ideas for my band, and I have a few but would like to make a much more comprehensive list. What fundraisers does your band use? Which fundraisers bring in the most money for your band, and which is the most popular? Thanks for the help! :)

they usually do cookie fundrasiers for our band and whatever u sell...40-50% of it goes back into your trip account...and i've managed to sell about $1,000+ of cookie dough...so im sure u can see the math in that. You get 36 cookies per box and each box sells for $12/$13...so tell your band director to look into that...it really helps me out A LOT!!! They are really good, too.

I absolutely fundraising, because I have to do so much of it, being in Band, choir, Scouts and Venture Crew, but the easiest ones I've seen so far are the candy ones, where you have the chocolate or lolipops and you sell them for a dollar or so, because you sell them to your hungry friends all over school. I hear that our orchestra makes a off of these.

car wash? lol jk

try setting up an area during lunch and sell fresh baked cookies for 50 cents each, 2 for a dollar. (write that on a sign, people think they save money...)

our drama dept does this and makes a killing. i dont remember what brand of dough they use though..

how bout a rock-a-thon? sitting in the gym all night while being sponsored to sit (kinda like a lock-in)

We rent out this building downtown and make a haunted house out of it every year. All the band students and parents help "decorate it" and then the band students get into scary costumes and do business. It makes a lot of money and is kinda fun to do.

That's pretty cool.

we had a car wash one day but it ended up raining.. so me and some other guard girls wrote on the back of the car wash posters $1 = 10 push ups. and we would do push ups on the side of the road at a stop light. We actually made quite bit of money doing that.

haha but the next day, none of us could use our arms.

That is brilliant. Side effect, notwithstanding.
