ah alright well ours hapened already and im glad cuz a lot of judson people made region and district it was 56 who made district and 27 made region, im one of them!!! YAY!!! lol but when your tryouts do happen your welcome to post results on how you did or your school

I missed region band by a chair

 

My chops had a different opinion about how I wanted to play, and so I did horridly at at my tryouts...

 

 

At least I get a nice little patch that says "district band"...

I made district on both flute and picc. but i still think i should've made region on piccolo. dammit. >

we don't do district it's just region for us, no district. however, i think itd be cool to have a district band. we'd be awesome (marcus, flower mound, hebron, lewisville, the colony)

i know there isnt a district band that performs, its just a region band, im asking who gets to keep goin on through the process and for you not till December 2nd, MY GOD!!! thats forever

you know whats sad... i havent even played the music at all! ive looked at it and done all the rythems (sp) but i still havent played it im alil nervous since its coming up

That is sad. You should take it more seriously next time. The easiest way to not be nervous, is to have your crap down.

ours is 2 weeks from now. but our region is easier than last year, and I made 2nd chair last year, so I should get 1st this time. not to mention our area no longer includes coppell or duncanville, and all the guys that beat me last year were seniros, and I was a sophomore. looks like my hopes for state are pretty high!

you give me too much credit. da two of us are gonna make top band this year! no more CCISD to deal with. aldine is similar to pasadena schools, but idk about the other people.

Thank God CCISD got moved to region 17...I think it'll be a little easier for some of us to make region band. I'm still kind of worried though, because of Humble & Kingwood people

i dont believe that there was a person from humble to make top band last year, and kingwood has meagan and cody, idk about the other people, i think they all graduated finally

I like our new region alignment...but ours is smaller now so they take less people. At orchestra they used to take 4. This year I was fourth...but now they only take 2...
