The Dallas Cowboys winning on Thursday made me happy.

 

UT losing to A&M made me very, very sad.

i was quite sad about this game... i so wanted UT to win... and I totally thought they were going to... that was a big upset.

There was one bad call that should have been overturned that wasnt (the sliding catch the texas WR made that did not hit the ground). The rest of that game texas lost it themselves. They are supossed to have the best Run Defense in the nation and got their **** handed to them. They are supossed to have one of hte top offensive lines in the nation, and got their asses handed to them.

 

I'll admit it wasnt the prettiest game...but in no way was there much luck involved.

Exactly, that call was a touchdown which would have put the score 13-12 texas assuming we missed the extra point. Texas played like crap but still shouldve won. A&M got lucky.

I think the call you're talking about was the pass interference call on sweed?

 

 

CLEARLY, it was a good call by the refs. And overall A&M had 10 penalties for 91 yards; Texas had only 3 and 26 yards. Considering A&M lost more than three times the yardage in penalties than UT, I think it'd be a stretch to say the refs were being overly kind to them.

 

The Longhorns didn't have their best game, and the Aggies had the best one they've had under coach fran. I don't think luck had anything to do with it.

Although I'm a longhorn, I was happy for the Aggies when they were winning. That is, until Heard took that cheap shot on McCoy. That made me mad...

i love the horns but ever since vincente whent to the nfl i stoped betting in favor of the texas...

on a side note: did you see his huge comeback against the gaints... as a cowboys fanatic (i never bet against them even though i lose lots of money) i say thans vince young.

 

back to college football- ohio state is gonna be the next national champion

if you watch the whole clip, it looks like the defense guy also pushed. That should have been a no call, therefore a touchdown. But it's over now, and doesn't matter. I personally don't care, just my two cents anyways.

Agreed. No point in argueing. Fact is UT played like crap, A&M one. Time to move on. We'll see how next year goes.

I know the hit your talking about. If you watch the entire clip of Dodge's interception...as soon as he catches the ball Heard goes after colt immediately. This isnt because he hates him, its because he was a potential tackler. The way ABC showed it made it look like it came from absolutely nowhere, but it did happen in context of the play. Coaches train defensive linemen to take out anyone in the backfield (including the quarterback) when an interception occurs because they all become defensive players.

 

Both players learned a lesson...heard learned not to let his emotions get to him and pull shots like that and colt learned you should probably leave your helmet strapped until the play is called dead.

Im a big longhorn fan, but they just didnt play like longhorns that game....i was like WFT the whole game. McCoy has some very large shoes to fill coming behind Vince Young...give him time, i think he will pull through
