Ya'll are leaving out a classic!

1994 Cadets

Actually, that was the first time I saw a DCI performance, and I thought it was really cool, but my favorite from that year was Blue Devils' "My Spanish Heart" show. Hearing "Nightstreets" played like that, man! The thought of those runs just sends shivers down my spine!

Other Favorites

Cadets 01: Juxtaperformance. Showmanship. 'Nuff Said.

Blue Devils 02: I don't think I've ever looked at "I got Rhythm" the same way since.

Phantom '94: "Claire de Lune" and "North by Northwest"

Probably ought to update this list now that I've gotten more into DCI...

Harmonic Journey has grown on me...despite the dreck of a visual program...

Rhapsody still has a special spot in my heart as the show that made me love drum corps...

Star '91 and Star '93 are both amazing...

Spartacus '08 is nothing short of godly.

And I love Bluecoats this year.

So, that bring my overall tally to:

Star of Indiana: 1991, 1993

Phantom Regiment: 2003, 2005, 2008

Blue Devils: 1986, 2001, 2003

Bluecoats: 2007, 2008

Carolina Crown: 2004, 2007, 2008

Santa Clara Vanguard: 1989, 1999

The Cadets (all names): 1983, 1984, 1989, 1992, 2000

I'm sure I've already posted somewhere on this thread and with a different answer, but as of right now my favorite show is Vanguard 98. First show I ever saw

Excellent show.

I am no percussionist, but I view the percussion book from that year to be one of the best I have ever heard.

I still like '99 more, though.

My favorite is the Cavaliers 007 show, that was the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a darn good show.

Another good one from that year was the Summer Train Blues mix.

And a lot of people didn't like it, but I really enjoyed Mood Swings from that year, too.

Cavies - 95, 04, 06

Star of Indiana - 93

Phantom - 06

SCV - 89

but mainly Cavies 95 and 06, both those shows never get old (especially the youtube video of the

2006 tenor players drums falling off drums falling of the jbars, kind of off topic but hilarious none the less)

Cavies' Machine.

Best. Show. Ever.

Agreed. Also, does anyone know where I could find a video of SCV '98? I think that's what our opener is based on. If I'm right, then I've heard that show was pretty good as well.

(**looks at the last few posts** Dang that's a lot of CP members)

Best. Show. Ever.

That all depends on how many shows you have seen. ;P

I'm different than most. My favorite Cavaliers show is '04. They just haven't been as ALL AROUND spectacular since then.

Visually they are unbelievable.. musically.. I hope next year there is more in their show.

Machine = Visually Awesome Musically = Not much melody.
