acsc1312 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I think its harder in band simply because you have more chances with football. You get a chance to make state every year with football. with band you have to wait a whole year between state years. If you have a bad year, you have to wait another year and wait to see if the following year you have a good show. I dont now, its just that i think football players have more chances to make it. crazyjakeup Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 lets do the math every two years a 5a band has the oppertunity to make state. every year a 5a football team has a chance to make state. lets say about 25 bands make it to state every two years 8 football teams make state every year meaning 16 teams (some twice so the number could be fewer) go every two years band=about 25 ,is greater than , football 16 so now no one can say that band is harder because of numbers Quote

bluebellbrass07 Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 QUOTE (Tnilli @ Dec 6 2006, 01:30 AM) Football works harder. Not a single one of you can convince me otherwise. I'd have to say that really depends on where you come from. Quote
TX Suh-nare Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 I'd say football. Those guys have to practice MORE than we b.n.'s, and they have to either knock someone to the ground or expect to get rattled on a regular basis. Also think about the fact they have to learn all those plays, too. To dumb it up, if you collide with a band member multiple times, you'll probably get cut. If you collide with another football player multiple times, you've had a good day. Quote
