Keyboard_Countessa Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I remember the snow of Christmas Eve '04... it was only a sprinkling where I live (there was more snow further south; how weird is that??), but it was the closest I've ever been to a White Christmas. As for now, I get to look forward to walking to my classes in icy rain. Snow, I like, but not icy rain. Quote

For real (and just so u know, i will never ever ever type/say that again)! It felt really nice outside today though...when it wasn't raining, that is. I hear the "Arctic Blast" is coming in tomorrow and may even cancel school on Tuesday because of the sleet that's supposedly coming here. I'm just glad the region 19 concert didn't get cancelled. Both bands rocked, and I'm not only saying that because I was in one of them Quote
Salesmonkey Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 My god the Apocalypse is near, its snowing... Quote
EuphToth Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 No, god just has a really bad case of dandruff today... Not really. But it is a scary thought... snow, I mean. Quote
chickora Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I say its awesome. I can't wait for it to stick so my sister and I can take loads of pictures with it...and then I can be traumatized for remembering my traumatic experienced when I lived up in Virgina for 2 years when I was like 3-4. Quote
sax5warrior Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 It aint fun melting all the ice on your car for 45 minutes and remove it delicately. Quote
springbassliner26 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I sure do wish that school had been cancelled today. I stayed up till 3 or 4 in the morning expecting to not have to wake up. I was wrong. Quote
chickora Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Well, we had no school and they warned us a day before. Quote
bluebellbrass07 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 for some reason we NEVER get out of school My hands were completley numb by the time I got from the parking lot to the school. Quote
Salesmonkey Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Ours got cancelled last night. Hope it gets cancelled tomorrow. I'll take a 6-day weekend over 2 3-day weekends anyday. Quote

chickora Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 (edited) Leander ISD, I hate you. >.< Same with GISD, and every other one that has been cancelled so far. Apparently, I hate my school District too. Edited January 17, 2007 by chickora Quote
Salesmonkey Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Woo. The news people got us canceled. They said Leander was cancelled accidentally when they meant to say Lubbock so the district had to cancel. Quote
ClaireAnnette07 Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 We haven't been cancelled..but we're not even getting ice this far south just yet. I know Huntsville & Conroe (about an hour and a half-ish north of Houston) had problems with ice and sleet and their schools got cancelled. Lucky them! Quote

Then the lady came on and corrected herself and i was like "see i told you so!" I'm so excited! Today I went sledding down an elementry school entry road, and i fell off a swing set, cause my foot got caught. Great times. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Quote
