Aegis Fang Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I just want to find out what shows I haven't seen that are worth watching, and find out what everyone thinks as well. Phantom Regiment - Faust 2006 The Cavaliers - 007 2004 Blue Devils - Godfather Part Blue 2006 *haven't seen many of their shows* The Cadets - The Zone part 1 2005 Santa Clara Vanguard - Scheherazade 2004 And all the Velvet Knights shows =D Quote
bluebellbrass07 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Phantom Regiment- This is tough, theres so many great ones, but I'll say 06. Vanguard - Man its really hard to pick one, so I won't. 04, 89, 00, and 98 Cavies - of there recent shows 02. Pre 2000- I'll go with 95 Blue Devils - 97 hands down The Cadets - Either 93 or 87. Bluecoats - 05 is my favorite , haven't seen to many of there shows. Carolina Crown - 05 Glassmen - 99 Great show that probably not too many on here have seen. I think its on youtube still Madison scouts - 05 and 95 , both for completley different reasons Boston Crusaders-2000 Solid 5th place show Crossmen - 92 saw it at last years classic countdown, that show was amazing Star - 92 My vote for best hornline ever Quote

Vanguard-99' cavies-06' just for the GE stand point but I might take that back later for 95' BD- not 97' very good but 04' takes my vote(great hornline) and the solo in 90' was sweet too. Cadets-95' Crossmen-06' just cause I thought it was amusing Star-93' Quote
NSUMusician Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Blue Devils - a tie between 97 and 99. Bluecoats - 2002 (I'm a bit biased towards that year) Boston Crusaders - 2004 (I love O Magnum Mysterium) Cadets - 2000 Carolina Crown - 2005 (amazing hornline) Crossmen - 2002 (Pat Matheny's Heat of the Day was AWESOME!) Glassmen - 2002 (Scherzo and Javelin were just gorgeous to listen to) Madison Scouts - 95 Phantom Regiment - 89 (One of the main reasons why Dvorak is one of my fav composers) Santa Clara Vanguard - 99 The Cavaliers - 2002 (One of the most complete shows of all-time!) Xukaniz Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Cavaliers - 2002 of course Phantom Regiment - New School, the past 2 years have been excellent. I think 05 slightly edges out 06 Blue Devils - With high squeely trumpets, 2004. For when they break out their classical (gosh they sound so good) going with 1990. Cadets - 87 is a good example of their percussion, and the legacy that it has had. 84 is a good example of their excellent brass. Bluecoats - 05 Carolina Crown - 05 Vanguard - Gonna go with 88 (because 89 was the same thing) and 99 (whenever I hear vanguard, I think of this show) Star of Indiana - 1991. Roman Images. Crazy brass.... 93 a close second. Madison Scouts - tie between 1995 and 1983 And of course, Crossmen 92 Quote
