Serardian Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Is it bad that I have no idea? They're really comfortable, though. Quote
Nancy08 Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I think we have drill masters, but I'm not sure. Ours are definately not comfortable...or maybe it's cause mine are too small... Quote
barisaxy08 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 i didn't even know they had other brands of marching shoes besides MTX Quote

bossman Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 well some programs cant afford the nice tuxedos that we wear, but as long as they look uniform it's ok. I remember when i first saw somebody walk into our PAC wearing their(Huntsville) marching uniform i was like WTF! Then i figured it out on my own Quote
crazyjakeup Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 yeah but that school is in a pretty weathy part of d/fw Quote
Serardian Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Isn't that the school where the cheerleaders got hazed? Never mind, I found the article: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...er.32c4304.html These girls have problems! Quote
Trumpet Master Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 My school used triton shoes about 3 years ago and then switched to MTX this year, but by far i like the tritons better. Quote
MartinHorn Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I remember one time I wore my uniform tux jacket, pants, and marching shoes to my brother's wrestling banquet. Quote
EuphToth Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Well, our director's name is Dinkens, and we wear Dinkles. Oh the irony... Quote
artishard Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 dinkles is a cute name....for a dog or something. mtx actually killed my unnaturally high arches, so i wish we had worn something else. but they were so easy to break in, so i liked them. Quote
MartinHorn Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 MTX is very popular I guess. I've heard people complain that Drillmasters have too thin a sole. Quote
bossman Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 wearing your band tuxedo outside of band is extremely out of the question. Thats the whackest thing i've ever heard. Quote

T-ratbowieband Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 A bit off topic... what's the best shoe for practice? We wear dinkles. Mine have holes in them from using them on the parking lot. Quote
