bluebellbrass07 Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 http://68.178.170.15/cadetsaudio07/207/index.html That's one hard horn book.... Quote
Xukaniz Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Not bad. Definitely digging that trumpet solo. Playing that well on what is a clarinet solo is pretty sick. Quote
G'townPIT Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 here's my in depth analysis- sweet!! Quote
trumpetman1288 Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Once that is clean, that will be pretty OMG on the field. I hope the drill is equally as sweet. Quote
Fortisimo Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Lol, bitchin. Their show design really turned around on a dime this year- that's so friggin awesome. Note, hey Julian, doesn't the part pretty near the end remind you of "Bad Dog No Biscuits"? The really dissonant, assymetrical rhythm thing... this show is gonna ****. Quote
Danpod Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 The hornline sounds so delicious that it's not even funny!!!!! The hornbook, at least what I've heard so far from both recordings, is extremely difficult and it sounds like the corps is taking it on full force. However, it'll be interesting to see how things turn out when they add the "Professional Narration". What is that anyhow? "What do you do for a living?" "I talk...." Quote

The guy from the movie adds, I believe his last name is DeFontaine or something like that. Quote

Fortisimo Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Lmfao, that guy they use in the Geico commercial rapes. And Julian, you never answered my question: Quote Note, hey Julian, doesn't the part pretty near the end remind you of "Bad Dog No Biscuits"? The really dissonant, assymetrical rhythm thing... Quote
Fortisimo Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Closer is posted now: Not the arranged version yet, but the original piece is posted in its entirety: http://www.yea.org/site/PageServer?pagenam...3gc6hoc41.app5b Despite last year's travesty of a show, I am definitely looking forward to the Cadets' performance this year. They seem to be headed to a very solid show here. Quote

Yeah I know which part you're talking about, it kinda does. That other song they posted will be interesting to hear on field. Quote
