sax5warrior Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 I have a problem. and I am willing to discuss it with the many Dr. Phil's that we have here. I guess Ill tell yall later since in 2 hours I hafta report to the band hall. To the shower I go Quote
E3euph Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 i think the person would have to be mean or aggresive when its necessary. Im not tryin to sound like a **** or nething, but encouraging somebody instead of yelling at them goes a long way. Instead of shooting them down encourage them to do better, but dont hesistate to say something when the person is acting like an idiot. (prolly b me lol) Quote
crazyjakeup Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 there is a time and place for everything... Quote
barisaxy08 Posted May 11, 2007 Author Posted May 11, 2007 yeah...it's nice to have fun but it's also many times during rehearsal where everybody needs to be serious Quote
crazyjakeup Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 yeah im prolly one of the crazyest dudes in my band but when on the grid iron its time to get to work... Quote
bossman Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 BAND PROBLEM! What if somebody quits becuz they didnt get a position that they wanted in leadership. Should they be allowed back if they repent of their sins??? Quote
crazyjakeup Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 yes because they quit cuz they were really upset... forgive and forget... Quote
bossman Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 umm. ok anyone else have an opinion? or is jake right all the time? Quote
barisaxy08 Posted May 14, 2007 Author Posted May 14, 2007 I SAY... sometimes the things that you do can affect the way people will view you...especially if it will effect exactly how you are treated. So I mean sometimes the actions you take can be forgiven but it definitely WONT b forgotten. So it all depends on if that person is willing to dish it out for the rest of the year. Quote
E3euph Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 no, just becuz u didnt get what you want dosnet mean you should quit on the band you've been helping in for years. If thats the case its good that your gone becuz u weren't in it for the band but for yourself. I care more about the band as a whole than some position or placement. Quote
bossman Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 darn, thats two opinions that are very different. And i can see where you're coming from with that idea. Quote
crazyjakeup Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 they both have good points but i'll go with saxy on this one... if the kid is willing to stick it out for the rest of the year, thats punishment enough... Quote
