gavinrh Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I can't believe somebody hasn't started this topic yet, because the TCU jazz festival was badass. Andy Martin is amazing, and so are some of their jazz bands. We didn't place, but I think the concert they held for us at the award ceremony more than made up for it. Like Andy Martin hit a ridiculously high note on a trombone that had to be at least thirty gajillion ledger lines up! haha but seriously, it was waaaaayyyy up there Quote
LdTrumpetWailer Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 I heard Roweltt's band and they were really good. I was just there for a master class from Vincent DeMartino. Which was free and phenomenal. I took a lot out of that class still I wanted to hear Andy I heard he is super good. Quote
gavinrh Posted March 29, 2007 Author Posted March 29, 2007 He's probably one of the best trombonists in the world. He's in Wayne Bergeron's band? I think he told us? Plus the stuff he plays is mind-blowing even for a trumpet player Quote

Warfact Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 This is an old topic, but just wanted to say we were there. It was a good contest. Quote
