Madison Scouts, like The Cavaliers, are an all male corps. I saw in that little intro thing before their performance on ESPN that the Cavaliers started from a Boy Scout troop, and they have just kept up that tradition. I don't consider them sexist, I consider it tradition.

The Madison Scouts have never had a girl march. However, they have had "guest performers" that were girls, much like the one they used for the 2005 show.

I knew a few people in the Madison Scouts that year and from they told me, the staff was very strict on how the guys acted around her. At the beginning, the guys weren't allowed to talk to her unless she spoke to them first.
