Hum. Being compared to Mr. Phillip Geiger. That's some tough company to be compared to. Maybe someday.

So not to be rude or anything

But who are you and where do you indeed teach?:o

Ha. I can assure you I am no one's director on this board! Barisax, I know you were only comparing me to Mr. Geiger in looks alone. I greatly respect the things Mr. Geiger does as well as the things most of the other member's of this board's directors do! Yeah, sorry for a very lengthy sentence. One day maybe I'll be up there with them. I've got to start somewhere though.

well im sure being on a level to where he is would be a accomplishment for anybody...but i jus say do things like you and be urself and that alone will take u as far as u need to go. Without originality and unique people in music, then the whole idea of marching band can't grow and expand into something better. Geiger just happened to be "the chosen one" per say...haha.

we have laps for when you're late to practice or when our director just kinda gets fed up with you.

I'm not sure if section leaders are allowed to assign push-ups and stuff for their section to do (I personally don't see anything wrong with it as long as we do it with them so it's fair punishment for all).

But I had to "motivate" my section today by saying that we will start using push-ups every time they miss a straight line that the flutes make during set 9. Of course, I'm being met with a lot of opposition because we haven't made that set since we learned it back in August, so that would mean a lot of push-ups.

lol we have that one-lap-for-every-minute-late rule and it happened to be that one time last a year a guy was an hour late...

He had to do all of them. He didn't do them all at once, but like 10-20 a day. I couldn't remember. Thankfully he was in athletics so he was ok doing it.

I would like to know what this hindu thingy is too... would it happen to be yoga?

lol. I was confronted today by some flutes about yours or whoever's idea. I really didn't know what to say. On one hand I was like... "great idea!" On the other hand I realized your section makes up about 90% of "the infirmary".
