My director is out of town, and i know we were entered so I was wondering if anybody knew any

Hendrickson got first place at area.

well, im pretty sure this is outside of your area but, frisco centennial advanced to state. not sure if we were the 1 or 2 spot from our area tho.

Does taping base off of TMEA divisions? Or UIL?

you know, im not sure. im inclined to believe it may be based off of TMEA though

Listenings are based on the TMEA alignments, not UIL.

I don't know which of the tie advanced after the re-listen.

Area D's listening will be next Tuesday (June 26th) at 1:00 PM at Duncanville HS. The entries for the two spots there are Copperas Cove (Region 8), Willis (Region 9), Highland Park (Region 20), Waxahachie (Region 20), and Vista Ridge (Region 26). Just a somewhat biased but also somewhat educated prediction...Vista Ridge and Highland Park will advance

I'm in Alabama right now so my friend had to give me the news over cell phone. I don't think Southwest has ever even gotten through to Area let alone get first. It's great for us. We're finally making something of ourselves.

Yeah, Region 7 took over Area B as well.

haha, sorry, since I'm a H.P. nerd I just have to point out that if that is so, then that will probably be the biggest weekend of my life... The Deathly Hallows AND Honor band results!!

yeah i 'll be down there for some wedding but i think i'll opt out and go to the dome... thats the plan anyways...
