borchnork Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 It rained earlier... And my county was actually under a flash flood warning! Quote
SerialSleeper90 Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Here's the weather from half way across the world! Southern China is being terrorized by rain! YAY! 94+ ppl dead and half a million are being evacuated. If hope none of you guys are dead over in Texas... *knocks on wood* *picks a four leaf clover* *cuts a rabbit's foot and makes it into a charm* *rubs happy buddha's tummy* There, yall should be safe now. actualgirltrombone Posted July 11, 2007 Author Posted July 11, 2007 That's pretty intense. Actually thats very very intense. Hope you come out alright! Quote
SerialSleeper90 Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 O no need to worry for me, lol. I'm in the capital, Beijing, which is way further up north. Except for the giant smog of pollution even visible to outer space and the highest rate of traffic accidents and deaths in the world (ofcourse this is all suppose to change by 08 for the olympics)... I'm just dandy. A little bored... but dandy. Did anyone get to see really-super-neat fireworks on the 4th? I don't think I've been in America for the 4th since i was... 4. wow that was kinda of a cool coin'k. Quote
actualgirltrombone Posted July 11, 2007 Author Posted July 11, 2007 My town's 4th of July festival and fireworks got cancelled cause it wouldn't stop raining. =/ Quote
crazyjakeup Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 i think its from another source... not first hand...lol Quote
borchnork Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 sorry, had to bring this topic back up cus of today's random freezingness... it was PERFECT weather this weekend and now I think I could freeze a bottle of water outside if I wanted to. Quote
SerialSleeper90 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 IT WAS SO FREAKING WINDY!!! I almost fell off the podium! That was scary. Quote

Agreed!!!!!!! Region 12 UIL was today and needless to say, brrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! The blankets and jackets were in full force today. The concession stands were on the ball though. They had plenty of hot chocolate to go around Quote
txsweetheart183 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 hot chocolate is amazing.. i just had some =D Quote
ddmwingz Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 me too...i grabbed some at the 7/11 on the way home from our practice...it was cold, extremely windy, wet, and, to top it off, i was stuck in shorts and a tshirt....lol, hot chocolate was welcome Quote
itsstephenyo Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 I was walking around campus today in a polo, jeans, and flip flops. My jeans were soaked and my feet were frozen. Periodically, my stinkin' flip flop would flop off my foot and I'd step on a freakin' rock or something. Today was absolutely, positively ridiculous. It was a pretty decent day over the weekend, and then *bam!* Freezing weather. Abso-freakin-lutely ridiculous. Quote

king_kool360 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 a couple weeks ago, at the Mesquite Marching Festival, after we (Sherman) had gotten done playing, we (more like 5 of us) went to watch everyone else. it started raining. i stood there. in the rain. just watching the rain. probably looking like an idiot. for probably 30 minutes. it was POURING. that's all. :~D Quote
borchnork Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 it was a nice day today, but still on the chilly side. At least it wasn't emo-looking out side w/ all the clouds. It helped make my school day just a little more enjoyable. Quote
txsweetheart183 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 today was freaking nice outside.. except for the small gusts of wind towards the end of rehearsal Quote
Tx_Band_Marcher08 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Today was feeling really good outside except the fact I kept getting blown away by the wind. I think I might be in love with the Texaco's french vanilla cappuccino =] Quote
Danpod Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I had to wash all of my winter clothes last night because of the sudden drop in temperatures. Which reminds me, I need to get a Txbands.com hoodie. Quote
ClaireAnnette07 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 it was freaking freezing yesterday in Austin...and rainy & windy...but it beats sweating buckets just trying to get across campus, so I love it! I had to bust out my hoodies, and it was awesome. I also learned somethings..like, Starbucks has amazing White Chocolate Mochas (thanks again for the gift card, Mom!) and that the hot chocolate in my dorm is nasty and a waste of $1.50 Quote
king_kool360 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Oh yeah? Well I'm confined to my room! I've caught something because Texas is **** and Alabama is much better!... But I'd probably catch something there too... I hope I get well before this weekend, we (Sherman) are going to Area. Quote
dtxtrmpt Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 we had a 2 and a half hour practice ruined yesterday. we called it early. we had some people out there in thick jackets, and 4 layers of pants, and other kids wearing short sleeve shirts and short shorts. crazy people. my hands were frozen to my horn. it ruined our focus. it was pretty bad.... Quote
Danpod Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I guess my days needlessly spraying Lysol into the air are finally taking its effects... Quote
