NSUMusician Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 SIX WORDS BABY!! I MISS YOU MOST OF ALL, MY DARLING, WHEN AUTUMN LEAVES START TO FALL! I can't be more proud to be an alumn than tonight! Enjoy the bus ride Bluecoats. Quote
Lustra.exe Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 WOOO! It's nice to see a new face on top! hopefully they'll keep it up! Quote
Dontforgettobreathe Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Have to admit, I really did not see that one coming Quote
thesnareguy Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Bluecoats' ballad is pretty cool. The rest is ok. Their percussion feature sounds really similar to 2004 and 2005 Cavaliers'. I thought Kuhn and McIntosh would've changed some stuff around. I also find it ironic that DCI has ads for Edirol's R-09, the new recorder with "pristine quality." Quote
borchnork Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Mmm... I was a Bluecoats fan for a little while. I remember getting into so many arguements with the Blue Devils fans. Good job for those guys! Even though they beat my new fave, the Cavies, it's still great to see them on top! Quote
Lustra.exe Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 No WAY!!! You're a Cavies fan?!?!?! You're a little late for the bandwagon but I think they'll still take you. Quote
Keyboard_Countessa Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 The Cavies fan in me is a bit disappointed. But the soft spot I have for the Bluecoats is very, very happy. Quote

I have been for about a year. But I've really only known about DCI in general for about 2 years, so that's not to horrible. although, it is sad that I went 14 years of my life w/o Drum Corps... Quote
Fortisimo Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 LMAO, I told ya'll, a Billy Joel show? Cavs just **** themselves. This has good and bad points: Good- Cavs aren't gonna win this year, leaving it open to fresh meat. It looks like Blue Coats are going nicely, but then so was SCV at the very beginning. It all remains to be seen. Bad- you can't read as much into this as you might want. Although it looks like other corps are doing better, while they may in fact be, the fact is that this perception is skewed because the Cavs are doing much worse due to their pathetic show concept, thus making others look even better in relation. It would be interesting to see the Bluecoats do really well, though. I'm still on the Cadets' side, myself. Quote
Tx_state_euph_08 Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Awesome to see Coats on top...but i hope they don't peak this early in the season as they almost always do. Does anyone think their new uniforms looks alot like the Old BlueDevils? Quote
