the_n00b_trombonist Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I want to see I Am Legend so bad!!! Quote
borchnork Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 what is that movie about anyways? Apparently everybody is obsessed with it who's seen it. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 The movie is about a guy who is the last human on earth. Everybody else is transformed into these vampire like creatures through some massive earthwide virus. It's a tale of his survival. I bought the book a few weeks ago, but I have yet to read it. I'm currently reading a book called Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. It's by the same guy who wrote No Country for Old Men, the same movie that came out a while ago. Quote
crazyjakeup Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 i am currently reading green eggs and ham by dr suess, im on page 5... Quote
TRtrumpet Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Haha, nice. I am currently bored in webmastering. No ones ever on at this time. Bleh. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Haha you're still in school. Suckers. Oh, wait... I'm taking a winter course, too... Crap... At least it's online, though. Quote
borchnork Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 gah... it's 10 P.M. and I'm STILL at school... stupid research projects/presentations. So I think this weekend I'm going out to see I Am Legend, along with The Kite Runner. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 The Kite Runner is a movie? I thought it was just a book. Quote
crazyjakeup Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 idk but i heard that it was a movie also... i work at 3am now to noon now monday through friday(untill school starts up again) i fell asleep last night at 8, im such a loser...lol Quote
TRtrumpet Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 The graveyard shift! I think... lol. Boy does this class suck. Quote
borchnork Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Kite runner was a book utnil this past weekend. I heard the movie was almost exactly word for word from the book. So it should be pretty good. Quote
TRtrumpet Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Hmm So how is everyone on this fine fine day? Quote
borchnork Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Freaking EXHAUSTED. College is so much different than high school. =[ Quote
TRtrumpet Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Yeah that's what I hear :/ i'm kinda exited about it though! Ready to get outta this town. Quote
borchnork Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Yah, I was totally the same way, but every time I go back to Frisco, I get soo home sick! haha, it really sucks, cus I never thought Id want to go back there. Oh well. Guess they always say "home is where the heart is" and it's sooo true. What colleges are you looking at? Quote
TRtrumpet Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Yeah, I hear it's like that for alot of people. But I honestly don't think I'm gonna be home sick in anyway I'm looking at WTAMU just cause it's a really good music school Quote
borchnork Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 hah, well I've actually never heard of it before.... But I'm sure you're research has led you to the best college!!!! And I'm officially no longer a music major! haha. Quote
TRtrumpet Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I had never heard of it either 'till I went to a camp there. It's deffinitly one of the best. Why aren't you a music major anymore? Lol. Quote
takigan Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 WTAMU does have an excellent band camp and is a very good music school, I have several friends who go there. But then, I can't really think of a single major college in Texas that doesn't have a good music program.....oh wait, Texas A&M *cough*. Quote
rpd Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 ^Hah, I have a friend who wants to be a band director but wants to go to Texas A&M. I've tried to convince her to consider other schools, but she "grew up an Aggie" and is to stubborn to consider anything else. I got accepted into Stephen F. Austin State yesterday. I'm excited =) Quote
borchnork Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Why am I no longer a music major? Two words: Aural Skills. Let's just say, we have grad students who come in from other music programs across the nation that struggle through this class. And I'm just a freshman! hahaha. It's sooooooooo hard, and I don't have the time to deal with it. Quote
Gracelyd33 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Well its okay if you can't do it but its never bad to just try first. Quote
borchnork Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I've tried! and I'm not succeeding, so it's time to say adios! Quote
Nancy08 Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Yeah which makes me very sad!!! You should give it another semester. Otherwise I'm never gonna see you and all your Pol Sci classes! Quote
borchnork Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 We live in the same dorm... I'm pretty sure we'll have plenty of time to hang out. =] I'm more than likely doing concert band too. Quote
