I'm not sure the EXACT number but we have three movements. I could ballpark 80-90 adding up the numbered set we end on on each movement. They're not the cleanest things in the world though. Long ways to go.

I can't wait to see what are fourth movement is gonna look like also! That's for next week....

langham has about 10 sets on the field right now.

..the least of any school in houston, mostly thanks to our horrible drill writer.

(who was fired a week or so ago and replaced by Mark Chambers, who is actually doing what we pay him to do correctly)..and we've been getting alot of rain.

What sucks most about being so behind, is that this is going to be our first year ever at Super Regionals, so we were already going to be out of our element since its BOA.

oh man, this years really going to be interesting.

Only good thing is my band always has really clean sets to begin with (seeing as we spend forever learning them), so once the show IS done, we need less time to clean than most bands.

but still, WE NEED TO LEARN MORE SETS :(

The rain slowed us down last week but we finally got movement 2 down. Our school only has 3 mvmts total and only 80ish charts when its all over. Right now I think we're at 45 or something like that. Next week we'll perform the second movement of our show for our game against Bryan.

we just received the third mvmt.'s drill today, so we marked about 8 sets, but only marched through about 4 or 5 of them... It takes us up to set 41... and what we have drill wise right now takes us almost to the end of the mvmt. 3, so hopefully we start the closer in the next 2 weeks!

our show is very firework oriented... idk how to really describe it...

like, in our 2nd mvmt, the woodwinds hold for 24 counts in these circles, but then in 8 counts, double, or almost triple the size of the circles.

and then in our 3rd mvmt. the first 2 or 3 sets looks like little firecrackers exploding.

I love things that go "BOOM!!!" :D

we just got new revised sets for the end of our movement 2 today.

Three sets to go, then we're done with the opener and movement 2.

We'll probably finish that thursday [our next rehearsel]

Whats left is to learn more visuals [tai-chi stuff] this saturday before our game and then learn all of third movement, which is a beast. Its really long in comparison to the first two.

We have all the movements down, but are still working with the last 5 sets of the fourth/closer. I'm extremely excited about next saturday at BOA Houston.
