borchnork Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 yah, borchnork isn't a word that you would use in an everyday conversation... Quote
borchnork Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I generally agree with the review. I did feel like Bell was missing just a little something. But it was still awesome. Quote
Xenon Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 If it wasn't awesome I wouldn't have been able to remember all the details so well. I've got 2 pages of notes and Bell was the only show that I didn't write any notes on! Quote
borchnork Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 wow. ok, that changes things. I was going to record it, but I forgot my camera. I think if this was Bell at GNats we woulda been blown out of our seats. Quote
sax5warrior Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 It was...a strange day. We didn't march the final "movement" My reed was chipped in prelims. My sound was bright for finals. Not a good reed day. and I was sore throughout. The body carriage issues, the upperclassmen learned to march with the shoulders parallel to the front when our old director was there. The freshmen learns the shoulders needs to be pointed to the press box when the new director came along. Its a big habit to break. Quote
