crazyjakeup Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 im not suprised nobodys talkin about this one. alot of area B and rowlett(randomly in the middle, area C) here are some bands that will be there: keller central, lewisville, keller, colleyville-heritage, hebron, flower mound, ROWLETT, lake highlands, marcus Quote
the terminator Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 problem with this contest is you have the big schools and the little schools there is no in between. Argyle is the top of the 3A and under Quote
bassclaristud Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 what's the lineup for Birdville this year? Quote
borchnork Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 the predictions for this one are up. I'm gonna hafta put Marcus, Hebron and then Rowlett as the top three, in that order. Quote
crazyjakeup Posted October 1, 2007 Author Posted October 1, 2007 man, talking to my brother this morning(t-bone section leader) i asked how the 4th mvt was coming along. they havent even touched the drill for the 4th mvt... they may march an incomplete show... Quote
SerialSleeper90 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 man... you sure you weren't talking to our t-bone section leader (ddmwingz)? Quote
crazyjakeup Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 okay rowlett will not march their 4th mvt... they will not even stand and play... is this marching suicide??? no, somebody won this event a couple years back without playing their closer... Quote
tigercat11 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 alot of bands dont put the closer in the first few comps. and they still do okay. Quote
Chsnareline05 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Yeah, For this early in the season it's about how well you do what you put out on the field. basically more quality than quantity. It should be a good competition though. Quote
crazyjakeup Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 well ususally rowlett has its show on the feild by now... kinda weird that they dont... anyways i wont be there for pre-lims but i will be there at finals... fun!!! Quote
crazyjakeup Posted October 5, 2007 Author Posted October 5, 2007 i'll be wearing a maroon floor crew shirt or a afliction polo... just in case anyone wants to stalk me... Quote

playfield Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Northwest marched TOC, not Birdville -- finals: 10. Northwest 9. Grapevine 8. Plano West 7. Centennial 6. Aledo 5.The Colony 4. Sachse 3. Mansfield 2. Creekview 1. Wylie Quote
the terminator Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Go Wylie, wow that was amazing. They did a good job I'm sure and they without a doubt deserved it. The most interesting thing was The Colony 5th, Aledo 6th, and Centennial 7th. Seems like a pretty good preview for area. I'm suprised Sachse was 4th Quote
playfield Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 That list was the bands that made finals. However, I do know that Northwest moved up and finished 8th in the finals over G'vine and Centennial. I'm guessing Wylie won it -- they were very good. Was anyone from TxBands there to review it? Probably not since the heavy hitters were @ Birdville. ;( Quote
itsstephenyo Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Why didn't you post those results in the TOC thread? This is the Birdville thread. Anyways, the results are as follows... I could only remember a few of the places. 1. Marcus 2. Hebron 3. Colleyville Heritage 4-8... I don't remember. Lewisville placed above Rowlett, but I'm not sure of the actual place. 9. Argyle. 10. Holliday Marcus swept all captions. Quote
PlayOboe Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Wow. Go Colleyville. What happened to Rowlett? Quote
playfield Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I know it's the Birdville thread but rolexdude posted the line-up for Birdville and it included Northwest. I was just making the correction ... and got carreid away. Sorry. Quote
PlayOboe Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Lake Highlands came in 5th. Still no word on 4th or 6th-8th. Anyone know anything else? Quote
