I wish I could have gone to see my old high school band (Channelview). I had to get my stupid brakes fixed before I go back to Austin later today so I couldn't go

do you know where to get the full results??

 

we almost fell apart in the middle of the last movement. a senior sax player rushed sooooo horribly much. of course, he had to be marching by a ton of freshmen, who in turn almost had their heads explode from the confusion.

I've been looking all day, I haven't found it yet.

just found out that we made 9/18 5A bands.....sucks.

 

this better wake up some of the underclassmen - there were a ton of bands that we should NEVER place below that beat us out.

 

congrats to Cy Springs though.

im bringing up an old topic but... how is their field? how is it marching wise? soft, bouncy, spongy? we have area this weekend there....just curious

The Galena Park field is turf, but it was my favorite turf field to march on because it almost feels like real grass. Uhm, I don't really know how to describe it though..sorry
