Get ready, because it could very well happen again. Will's Point is also awesome. They had a beautiful show last year, the drill was great, but the sound was just spot on. Their color guard also adds some great visuals to their shows.

Definitely. Last year they were scoring higher than some major 5A and 4A bands at pre-UIL contests. I expect the same again this year.

This isn't the right Canton HS I don't think. That sounds like the Arranger's Publishing Co. West Side Story show... and the sound from that band is way too bad for it to be Canton (even if it IS outside).

So get ready ladies and gentlemen, the 3A powerhouses are coming to town!

I don't think they'll destroy us like they did my freshman year. Trust me, we're a completely different band now.

But I do discredit any of the predictions automatically if they don't have Canton finishing AT LEAST top 3.

Just checked the predictions, sure is a lot now

and a lot of them have us placed very high, some a little to high lol

I will stick to my predictions, i say we make in a range from 6th place through 9th

I really think Lewisville will come out on top. While Lewisville may not be as respected as their neighbors, if I remember them correctly, they had a pretty gorgeous sound and can pull off a pretty good show as well. O well... we'll see saturday!

Man, our show wasn't bad at all but it wasn't good enough to compete, for some reason the wind threw all the fish off, don't ask how cause i don't even know

wow my new model for this contest

Desoto dropped last minute.

We were supposed to perform right after them, but they no showed, so we ended up performing about 10 minutes earlier than scheduled.

And wasn't the 7th place band Robert E. Lee, not John Tyler? Both are from Tyler, TX but I thought it was E. Lee that made finals.

that's right sorry about the confusion. As for me I felt that Lewisville great sound but the show was kind of boring, Canton nice visual and music. I didn't see Timberview but they did a good job getting to 3rd in finals. Centennial's sax quartet was very nice but the show felt very incomplete without the closer. But I loved Waxahachie amazing music and sound. suprised they fell to 5th in finals but I was very impressed. Us at Wakeland we did well, but prelims was a lot better.
